Pads contain 24 sheets of 80 lb (130 gsm) paper, wire bound on the short side. Wire bound pads are micro-perforated and are actual size when removed at the micro-perforation. 4″ x 6″ and 6″ x 8″ pads are not micro-perforated. 18″ x 24″, 24 Sheets – For a limited time, this pad of 80 lb 400 Series drawing paper will feature artwork honoring the founder of Strathmore Paper Company, Horace Moses. Mr. Moses opened the Mittineague paper mill on St. Patrick’s Day in 1892 in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Soon after, he visited the Valley of Strathmore in Scotland. The thistle was in full bloom and the beauty of the area impressed him so much that he started using the name and the thistle as a symbol of high-quality art and printing papers. Today, 125 years later, Strathmore continues to provide artists the ideal surface for producing lasting works of art.
